Sticks in Stillwater Mite/U8 Hockey Festival - January 12-13, 2019

Sticks in Stillwater is one of the largest Mite Festivals in the Midwest and is produced with the help of the Herb Brooks Foundation for the benefit of youth hockey. New this year, the festival will also be providing a scholarship to the Josh Gunderson Memorial Fund which supports local hockey players who need additional financial assistance to skate.

As 70+ teams and approximately 6,000 hockey fans descend on the City of Stillwater and the St. Croix Valley, Minnesota once again showcases its commitment to healthy living, youth programming and its love for the game of hockey!  We invite you to become a part of the 4th annual event as we celebrate many of Minnesota’s own hockey greats and good old fashioned outdoor youth hockey!

Any proceeds after expenses will benefit the Herb Brooks Foundation to help make hockey accessible and affordable to all kids.

Festival Fees

Teams from the same association
1-3 teams: $300 per team
4 or more teams: $250 per team

Teams will pay a $100 deposit at time of application after the number of teams per association has been determined the team balance will be adjusted to reflect the team's correct fee.  Teams must be paid in full by January 7, 2019
